Third Devlog Nicholas Dujon

Before i had got outside feedback on our game in alpha and got a good amount of recommendations on how to fix the game ranging from quality of life changes than can help alter the gameplay experience. We Got a little of play testing in class and got similar feedback as from my friends when i asked them but more details were given. Like for example, our game is going to be at least 4 players and Anthony had said if instead the player can control two paddles at different angles. So Each player would be controlling a paddle in the horizontal and vertical plane on the screen. We never thought of that and made is a possibility if in case because 4 players on one keyboard can be pretty chaotic and it can be a little more simpler than having 8 hands on a keyboard, it can be an alternative. Feedback was given on powerups and what the could do to shake the game up to differentiate it from just any other pong game. i also went back and got more outside feedback with a different set of friends than the last time, but i got similar results in class, but since it were similar comments i feel like its something that it should be adressed so we can get it out of the way.

The feedback i got was interesting and gave me alot of insight when you have different minds that come together to help give you the feedback and different ways to add or take away from the game. A game from a simple mechanic can be changed a lot with many ideas from a group or any person that will take the time and give a good amount of feedback and be serious about it. It helps alot.

Next is extra credit opportunities and to make sure everything is good to go for the final presentation.
